The Iraqi Army started an operation to annihilate the ISIS remaining parts on the Syrian-Iraqi borderline.
Iraqi Security Forces reported, that their divisions attacked ISIS shelters in Wadi Houran, al-Husseiniyat and the South of al-Qa’im district.
The al-Anbar forces, a part of the Popular Mobilization Units, completed a number of searching and destroying operations against ISIS. The other participants of the operations were the Iraqi Army, the coalition led by the US and the Iraqi Air Force.
The Iraqi forces and ISIS have fought in some places in the North-West of Iraq, Mosul District among them.
