The Syrian Arab Army repulsed an attempted breakthrough by militants in northern Latakia. As a result, several government soldiers died and several were injured.
The government forces have expanded their presence on the Hasakah – Aleppo highway. They took control of the Al-Susah and Al-Garbiya settlements.
The SAA also occupied a complex of granaries south of Ras al-Ayn and established control over the village of Ijaz in the south of Idlib province.
It was reported that the militants of Ansar al-Tawhid held back the advance of the SAA and destroyed one of the government units on the Rasm al-Ward front in eastern Idlib.
The IS stated that they are taking responsibility for the attack on the London Bridge on Friday. As a result of this attack, two people were injured and three were killed.
