Over the past day, more than 40 trucks with weapons and military vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces arrived in the city of Ain Issa (Prov. Raqqa) to establish a new military base on which the troops of the Syrian Democratic Forces will also be located.
Meanwhile, Syrian National Army militants fought off a Kurdish counter-offensive north-east of Ain Issa. In addition, fierce clashes between the conflicting parties occurred in the vicinity of the village of Khafiyah, located west of the city of Tel Abyad.
It is reported that American troops again began to cooperate with the Kurds and deployed their units in the oil and gas fields in the northeast of Hasakah province.
