The US has imposed sanctions on Turkish ministries and senior government officials in response to the country’s military offensive in northern Syria.
It became known that the Russian military police entered the city of Manbij. Also, Russian military aircraft bombarded the positions of pro-Turkish militants in the west of the Manbij in the province of Aleppo.
The Turkish armed forces inflicted numerous artillery strikes on settlements in the Aleppo, Raqqa and Hasakah provinces. The Syrian Democratic Forces in turn shelled from artillery on the Turkish city of Mardin. As a result, 2 people were killed and another 12 were injured.
The Syrian Arab Army has established control of the city of Manbij in the province of Aleppo. The SAA also sent massive reinforcements to the province of Raqqa.
The Free Syrian Army captured a number of settlements in the provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah with the support of the Turkish forces.
