Last morning, the border was officially opened between the cities of Abu Kamal (Prov. Deir Ezzor) and Al-Kaim (Iraq). A few hours later, an unknown plane launched several airstrikes on the positions of Iranian troops stationed near the border in the south of Deir Ezzor province.

A convoy of Turkish troops entered the territory of Idlib province yesterday through the border crossing point of Bab al-Hawa and, divided into two parts, went to the observation posts of Maar Hitat (Idlib province) and Al-Eis (Aleppo province). Opposition sources said Turkey is actively preparing for an operation against militants of the Tahrir al-Sham, Khurras al-Din groups, as well as the Islamic Movement of East Turkestan in Idlib and Latakia. The attack will be canceled if the groups agree to surrender.

The artillery of the Syrian militia fired on enemy positions in the west and south of Idlib. The militants, in turn, attacked government troops in the area of the Al-Gab Valley in the s-s of the province of Hama. Meanwhile, the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Air Force launched several airstrikes on enemy positions in Kbana and its envhirons (Prov. Latakia).
