The Russian and Syrian air forces have resumed their aerial attacks on the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate this evening, a source from the military told Al-Masdar from nearby Hama. According to the military source, the Russian and Syrian air forces unleashed a powerful assault on the positions of the jihadist rebels along the Hama-Idlib axis. The source said the primary target was the jihadist supply route from the strategic town of Khan Sheikhoun.

One child was killed and another was wounded in a shelling with incendiary ammunition in the town of Furaika in Idlib from the Gorin camp in the western part of Hama.

In the evening there was a shootout between opposition groups and government forces on the fronts of Hama. Syrian opposition forces seized the city of Al-Judeid, located in the north-west of Hama province.
