The Syrian and Russian jets and helicopters have attacked the positions of the jihadists in the Latakia, Idlib and Hama governorates.
The result of the joint air operation was 70 airstrikes, most of them were in southern Idlib and northeastern Latakia, says a military report.
The key targets of Russian and Syrian military aviation became the positions of the Turkestan Islamic Party’s (TIP) near the town of Kabani (Latakia Governorate) and the areas controlled by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham at Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, Kafr Sijnah, Kafr Nabl and Rakaya surroundings (Idlib Governorate).
Military strikes were also reported nearby the Al-Ghaab Plain region, where Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers are preparing for a new offensive on the positions of jihadists in this area.
Moreover, the Syrian Army’s troops are getting ready to move deeper into southeastern Idlib and northeastern Latakia.
