Syrian Arab Army Destroys Group of Militants near Al-Huwayz

The Syrian Arab Army destroyed a militant group near the village of Al-Huwayz in Hama province. In the last 24 hours, the SAA also shelled from artillery several positions of militants in the Aleppo and Hama provinces.

The militants in turn fired on positions of government forces in northwest Hama.

The coalition air force inflicted airstrikes on the positions of militants in the vicinity of Al Bagouz in the south of Deir Ezzor governorate. The Syrian Democratic Forces continued the search and liquidation operation of IS’ sleeping cells in Deir Ezzor governorate. The Kurds could not find the leadership of the IS in the town of Al Bagouz. They suggest that the leader of the IS fled to the province of Idlib.

A major flood occurred in the province of Hasakah, which was caused by heavy rains.
