Militants Suspend Turkish Offensive in Aleppo and Idlib

The offensive planned by the Turkish military was halted by a massive assault by the Tahrir al-Sham in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib.

In the last 24 hours, fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the militants of YPG occurred on the fronts of Harbul and Marea in Aleppo province. Also, there were also clashes between the militants of Tahrir al-Sham and the FSA in settlements of Khan al-Assal, Balnata, Mkalbis, Atmeh and Deir Ballout in the suburb of Aleppo, as well as on the outskirts of Saraqib in Idlib governorate.

Terrorists launched a surprise attack on the Syrian Arab Army to the west of the Euphrates River in the province of Deir Ezzor. Also, the fighters of IS ambushed the soldiers of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of As Suwar. As a result of the ambush, several SDF fighters were killed. The SDF in turn captured from IS the settlement of Al Shaafah in Deir Ezzor governorate.

The SAA shelled from artillery the positions of militants in the Hasraya and Al Arbaeen settlements in the northern suburb of Hama.
