Yesterday, at the defense industry summit in Ankara, Turkish President Recep Erdogan announced the imminent launch of a military operation against Kurds and terrorists on the eastern bank of the Euphrates in Syria. Meanwhile, another reinforcement of the Turkish army arrived in the city of Akçakale, located across the border from the Syrian city of Tall Abyad (prov. Raqqa). In addition, Turkish soldiers began dismantling fences along the Syrian-Turkish border to the west from the city of Ras al-Ayn (prov. Hasakah).
The fighters of the «Syrian Democratic Forces» continued their offensive against the IS terrorists in city Hajin (prov. Deir Ezzor) and by the evening liberated the city hospital. Some sources report that the Kurds liberated more than 50% of the city.
Last morning, the Syrian army began attacking positions of militants after they again attempted to penetrate to government territory in the north of Hama province.
