Hajin on Verge of Liberation From IS

Yesterday, the command of the Syrian Democratic Forces reported that with the support of the coalition, the Kurds liberated about 70% of the territory of the town of Hajin from the terrorists (prov. Deir Ezzor). Some local sources, however, report that the troops did not recapture even half of the city.

Meanwhile, in the south of the province of Deir Ezzor, near the border with Iraq, the SDF opened a new front in order to resume the operation against the IS in this area in the near future.

Last morning, the RuAF once again examined the territory of the buffer zone in northwestern Syria in order to obtain new information on the actions of militants before the start of the SAA operation. Government troops, in turn, fired on several positions of enemy in the province of Idlib and Hama.

Militants of “Jaysh Al-Izza”  tried to penetrate the territory of the SAA in the Tell al-Sakhr hill (prov. Hama), but were noticed by soldiers of government forces and were shelled by artillery.
