Yesterday afternoon, the convoy of the 5th Legion of the Syrian Army arrived to the west of the province of Aleppo to strengthen the front line. Meanwhile, clashes continued in the neighboring provinces of Idlib and Hama between government forces and militants.
It is reported that the SAA opened fire after it found opponents in the buffer zone in the north of Hama. Also, Syrian artillery shelled the positions of the Hayat Tahrir Ash-Sham group in the cities of Kafr Zita, Sirmaniyah (prov. Hama), Jarjanaz and Khuwayn al-Kabir (prov. Idlib). Militants, in turn, fired on the territory of the Syrian troops.
Meanwhile, FSA militants attempted to infiltrate to the territory of government troops near the city of Az-Zallaqiyat (prov. Hama), but were noticed by Syrian intelligence officers and lost several soldiers as a result of shelling.
During the G20 summit in Argentina, Turkish leader Recep Erdogan suggested that they with Russian President Vladimir Putin can do another meeting on the situation in the north-west of the Syrian Republic.
