Yesterday clashes between the SAA and the militants of the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza groups continued in northwestern Syria. Syrian artillery fired at group of jihadists who were moving through the buffer zone near the city of Al-Lataminah in the northern province of Hama. The militants, in turn, opened fire on the city of Helfaya and its environs. Also, the SAA artillery shelled enemy positions in the south-east of Idlib province.
In the evening of the same day, the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces organized an attack on the IS positions in the area of the city of Hajin (prov. Deir Ezzor). To assist in the operation, the coalition sent the next convoy with weapons and military equipment to the Kurds.
In the meantime, Syria’s air defense systems were once again on alert in connection with the discovery of Israeli airplanes near the Syrian-Lebanese border.
