Yesterday, a regular convoy of the Syrian Arab Army arrived in the western part of the capital of the province of Aleppo to participate in a potential operation against the Tahrir al-Sham militants who refuse to leave the demilitarized zone and, moreover, regularly bombard residential areas of Aleppo.
The militants of Tahrir al-Sham had captured from the SAA the village of Batabu in Aleppo governorate.
Meanwhile, the government of the Homs province settled the legal status of 175 people who had previously been members of armed opposition groups. Former militants surrendered their weapons and promised no longer to take actions that threaten the security of the Syrian government.
According to military sources in Iraq, the military intelligence had managed to thwarted several potential terrorist attacks planned in Turkey, Iran and Iraq by accomplices of the IS.
