Russia and Turkey to create demilitarized zone around Idlib

Russian and Turkish presidents held a meeting in city of Sochi. Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan discussed the Syrian issue. Turkey and Russia decided to form a demilitarized zone between rebels and government forces in Idlib governorate.

NATO warships arrived to the Syrian coast with missiles of the type “Tomahawk”.

Meanwhile, fighting continues between the IS and the Syrian Democratic Forces in areas of al-Soussah and al-Bagouz in Deir Ezzor province. Terrorists claim that 8 Kurdish fighters were eliminated by an IED in city of Hasakah.

The Syrian Arab Army continued to shell the positions of militants in Idlib and Hama provinces. It is reported that several militants were killed.

Three soldiers of State Security Branch were killed by an IED in Brij in the north of Aleppo province. It is reported that there are still others wounded.
