Over the past day, the Russian Air Forces and the Syrian Air Forces continued to strike bases and trenches of the “Turkistan Islamic Party” in the south and central parts of Idlib province, as well as in the north of the province of Hama.
Meanwhile, demonstrations against the SAA operation took place in the cities of Al-Lataminah (Hama gov.), Idlib, Taftanaz, Darkush, Kafrnabel, Maarat al-Numan (Idlib gov.). In a sign of solidarity, residents of the cities of Al-Bab, Mari (Aleppo gov.) have also gone out into the streets. Nevertheless, the Syrian Army is still stationing its troops along the perimeter of the front line in the north-west of Syria.
As a result of the summit held in Ankara, the Turkish, Russian and Iranian presidents failed to reach a consensus but agreed that the decisive factor for avoiding casualties among the civilians of Idlib could be the separation of terrorists from the armed opposition.
In the evening of the same day, the militants shelled the villages of Jubbayn, Muhradah, located on the government territory in the north of the province of Hama, and as a result, killed and injured several local residents. In response, the SAA artillery launched rockets on the enemy’s positions in the settlement of Az-Zakah, its environs, as well as in the cities of Qalaat al-Madiq, Kafr Zita, and Al-Lataminah.
