Syrian Democratic Forces Clean Entire Desert from ISIS on Border with Iraq

The SDF captured the entire desert on the border between Syria and Iraq. The Syrian Democratic Forces said they would not transfer their territories to Damascus (Deir Ezzor gov.).

Military reinforcements of the Syrian Arab Army arrived to start operations against the IS to the east of Quneitra province. Government artillery shelled the positions of terrorists east of the village of Tarba.

The SAA shelled the positions of militants in the settlements of Tel Huwash and al-Lataminach in Hama province, and also conducted several air strikes in the vicinity of the settlement of Bidama in Idlib governorate.

The militants of Tahrir Al-Sham arrested 17 spies of the Syrian Arab Army in the towns of Khan Sheikhoun and Madaya in Idlib province.

The People’s Protection Units officially announced that they had destroyed 23 Turkish soldiers and 31 militants of the Free Syrian Army in the Afrin district in Aleppo province in July, and also lost 8 of their fighters.
