Yesterday morning, as a result of clashes with militants, government troops managed to completely liberate the city of Sayda (Daraa gov.), the Air Defense Base located to the southeast, as well as a Radar Base and the Air Defense Base in the vicinity of the besieged city of Al-Nuaymah.

Meanwhile, SAA units based in the southeast of the Daraa province returned for the first time in three years to the border with Jordan and recaptured 9 border garrisons from the militants.

In the foreseeable future, the Syrian army, with the help of artillery and the Russian Air Forces is planning to reach the strategic border point of Naseeb from the north and east. Probably, this can be achieved without the help of fights, as by the evening the militants published a resolution in which they expressed a desire to resume negotiations with the Syrian authorities for the sake of civilians.

Also over the past day, the “Syrian Democratic Forces” fighters continued their attack on terrorists in the south of the province of Hasaka as part of the operation against the IS and, as a result, they captured the settlements of Madinah and Tuwaymin.
