Syrian Army Repulses Offensives of Militants and Terrorists

Syrian Army launches big assault on jihadist forces in west Aleppo despite large Turkish military presence/almasdarnews

Yesterday morning, IS terrorists captured several buildings in the settlements of Al- Jalaa, Al- Hasrat and Al- Sayyal, located north of the city of Abu Kamal (Deir Ezzor gov.). Later, government forces managed to regain control over the lost territories and eliminate at least 20 terrorists. SAA, in turn, lost about 5 soldiers.

Meanwhile, Kurdish forces attempted to repel from ISIS the city of Baghuz Fawqani in the south of the province of Deir Ezzor, however, terrorists repulsed the attack and went on the counteroffensive. The most successful situation for the “Syrian Democratic Forces” was formed during the attack on the ISIS fighters in the south of the province of Hasaka. With the support of the coalition’s Air Forces, Kurdish troops have significantly moved forward and have recaptured several settlements from the terrorists.

Fire exchange between the militants and the SAA continued yesterday to the west from the city of Aleppo (Aleppo gov.). Moreover, “Tahrir al-Sham” fighters suddenly attacked government positions in the vicinity of the settlement of Khan Tuman, located south-west of the provincial capital. As a result, the Syrian army managed to repulse the attack, eliminating at least 20 militants.
