Syrian Army Defeats Last Pocket of Terrorists in Yarmouk Camp

The Syrian Arab Army declared that it has established control over the al-Hajar al-Aswad district in southern Damascus/almasdarnews

Over the past day, the battle for the historical city of Damascus has ended in a complete victory for the Syrian military after more than seven years of fighting. The SAA announced that troops have established control over the Al-Hajar Al-Aswad in the south of Damascus, as well as over the Yarmouk Camp.

Meanwhile, the convoy of buses, which left Yarmouk camp, divided into 2 parts. Buses with families went to Idlib, and the convoy with terrorists disappeared in an unknown direction. Nevertheless, south of the station T-3 (Homs gov.), IS terrorists attacked the SAA, eliminating as a minimum 16 people, 14 others were injured.

Militants, in turn, shelled the positions of terrorists in the vicinity of the city of Hajin and the settlement of ash Sha’fah. As a result of fights, 10 terrorists with their families surrendered. Also, in the province of Hasaka, the SDF gave to the residents of the settlements of Tell al-Jair, Tell al-Manah, Tell Safuk, controlled by the ISIS, time to leave the settlements before the offensive begins.

It is reported that in the province of Hama, Iranian and Shiite troops leave their positions in the suburb of Hama, the southern suburb of Aleppo and the southern suburb of Idlib.

Moreover, a cache of weapons allegedly made by the USA, Germany and India has been discovered by Syrian soldiers and the Russian Reconciliation Centre in the Zaafaran settlement in Homs province. Also, warehouses were found in the settlements of Kafr-Lahah and Tir Maala.
