Yesterday night the Syrian troops again organized the attack on terrorists in the pocket in the south of Damascus (Damascus gov.). The ISIS fighters hit a government armoured vehicle during clashes on 30th Street between the district of Al-Hajar al-Aswad and the Yarmouk camp. SAA, however, continued to slowly move deeper into the pocket, liberating houses along the road.

Over the past day, several besieged settlements in the north of the province of Homs and in the south of Hama went under the control of the Syrian army, and some of the local militants, including the commander, joined the government troops.

In connection with the frequent attacks by the “Tahrir al-Sham” militants, the SAA began to pull its troops to the front lines in the region of the capital of the province of Aleppo.

Also, the government forces are preparing for the forthcoming operation against enemy’s formations in the governorate of Daraa. Yesterday, the SyAAF helicopters scattered leaflets addressed to militants with proposals to lay down their arms and surrender over the besieged cities and villages.
