The Israeli Air Force has struck an Iranian military base near al-Qiswah, 12 kilometers south of Damascus. The air attack destroyed an Iranian convoy carrying ground-to-air and ground-to-ground missiles. Syrian media reported two civilian deaths. Some reports say that Israel also targeted SAA positions in Jabal al-Manai, south of Damascus.

Israeli Army commandment declared full combat readiness. According to Chief of the Israeli Army, troops are in a state of high alert, waiting for the Iranian attack. The Army has deployed its anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems in the Golan Heights. Locals were advised to prepare their bomb shelters.

Syrian Army continued advancing in Damascus, continuing its counterterrorist operation against ISIS. Army’s Air Force and artillery shelled terrorists’ positions in Al-Yarmouk and Al-Hajar al-Aswad. Militants’ operations against terrorists also went on in Deir Ezzor and Daraa provinces.

As militants kept leaving various now government-held regions of Syria in green buses, “Forces of Martyr Ahmad al-Abdo” (FSA faction) refused to get involved in any negotiations with the Syrian government or Russia.

Syrian artillery/air strikes on militants’ positions were reported in Zakat, Al-Latamina. Al-Sayad, Al-Arbain, Al-Qarqur, Al-Qastun, Kafr Zita, Hasrai and Sahal al-Gab (Hama gov.) and Al Hubait (Idlib gov.)
