Militants in Al-Rastan Call for Negotiations Russian Center To Organize Ceasefire

Syria’s Rastan (Damascus gov.) rebels called for emergency meeting with Russian negotiators to organize reconciliation deal. The meeting was reportedly held this Wednesday at the Dart Kabeera crossing area.

There have been conflicting reports on whether or not the rebel team of Al-Rastan city has managed to reach a cease-fire agreement with Russian reconciliation center. While some sources say that a three days ceasefire deal has been established, other claims that negotiation failed. No official confirmation was made was released yet.

Jaysh al-Islam militants continued to surrender their weapons to government forces in the city of Ad-Dumayr (Damascus gov.) and are set to withdraw from all their positions in the city and move to Jarablus on terms of reconciliation agreement.

Syrian Arab Army’s offensive in Hama and Homs is ongoing. Artillery and Air Force shelled militants’ positions in various territories, including Hasraya, Salhab, Latamina, Kafr Zeta and Jisr al-Shughur and smaller villages. Tahrir Al-Sham militants launched a counterattack against SAA in south-east Hama and captured2 points. The attack was responded with a series of airstrikes.
