Syrian Army Declares Complete Liberation of Eastern Ghouta From Militants

Yesterday Syrian Arab Army declared complete liberation of Eastern Ghouta of Damascus from armed opposition forces.

A series of airstrikes was conducted by Syrian Air Forces during SAA offensive in the south-east part of Homs governorate.

Syrian Army has captured Suleym and Al Hamarat villages in Homs governorate.

Large-scale battles erupted between SAA and FSA forces in the districts of Qaba al Kurdi, Al-Jomaqaliyah, Al-Hamarat, Al-Salim and Al-Quneitiyrah of Homs. During the fighting, militants destroyed 4 government tanks and killed about 20 Syrian soldiers. Due to heavy losses, the Army was forced to withdraw from the Al-Quneitiyrah district and request air support.

Clashes burst between Tahrir al-Sham and Jabhat Tahrir Suryah fractions in Hama province. HTS have captured towns of Khan Sheikhoun, Morek, and settlements of Tel Aass, Tal Jaafar, Kafr Sijna, Mustafa and several small villages.
