Yesterday, the Syrian troops began the assault of the settlement of Hazzah (Eastern Ghouta, Damascus gov.), located to the west of the previously liberated city of Kafr Batna and managed to capture several eastern districts. Militants, in return, tried to set back the SAA, using VBIED, but it didn’t bring results. Also, clashes between the sides took place in the vicinity of the cities of Duma and Harasta.

In accordance with the preliminary data, today, on Tuesday, the first party of militants of the “Ahrar al-Sham” group will leave to the north of Syria from Harasta, according to the agreement with the authorities.

During the past day, as a part of the operation “Olive Branch”, pro-Turkish militants of the FSA repulsed from the Kurds the settlement of Shaalah, located west of the city of Al-Bab, and have launched an attack on the city of Tal Rifat.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the operation against the Kurds in northern Syria won’t be completed until the cities of Manbij, Kobani (Aleppo gov.), Ras al-Ayn and Al-Qamishly (Al-Hasakah gov.) are captured.
