Syrian Army has rushed to the center of the province of Idlib and has repulsed militants from the nearby settlement of Al-Khifa. The remaining besieged villages in the vicinity of Abu ad-Duhur were shelled.

Meanwhile, in the north of  Aleppo, it was the fourth day of ‘Operation Olive Branch’. As a result of the counterattack, the Turkish-backed FSA fighters again have captured the Barsay Hill from the Kurdish troops to the northeast from the city of Afrin. On the western front of the Afrin Canton, militants have repulsed the villages of Hemame, Umar Ushaghi, and Adama, as well as several hills with access to the city of Rajo.

Kurdish troops, in return, have shelled the Turkish cities of Kilis and Reyhanli, eliminating the commander of the FSA, and closer to the evening they have managed to regain control over the settlement of Hemame in the southwest of the Afrin Canton.
