Syrian Army Reaches Abu Ad-Duhur Airbase; Militants Withdraw From Aleppo

Syrian Army detachments working in Idlib continued advancing towards the Abu Ad-Duhur Airbase held by Tahrir Al-Sham militants, capturing about 20 villages on their way in the last 24 hours. By the night, soldiers reached their destination and initiated the shelling of militants positions.

Several reports claim that ISIS is also pushing towards the airbase, but this information is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, other Syrian Army detachments ousted Tahrir Al-Sham militants from a number of villages, including the Abu-Ruwayl village in Aleppo located to the north of the Abu Ad-Duhur Airbase in Idlib, several villages south-west of Khanasir in the south to Aleppo and Umm Miyal village in north-east Hama province.

Because of their hopeless situation on the eastern front, militants are planning to leave the territory to avoid being completely surrounded by the government troops.
