Over the past day, Syrian troops made a big breakthrough as a result of clashes with militants of the Tahrir Al-Sham near the border between the provinces of Hama and Idlib.
First of all, SAA has liberated Tal Al-Aswad Hill in the south of the province of Idlib, and went to the west, capturing besieged settlements along the way. Eventually, government troops have entered the village of Umm Haratayn (prov. Homs). Some sources report that SAA has full control over the settlement.
Militants, in return, have shot down the plane of the Syrian Air Forces. The pilot catapulted but was killed.
Meanwhile, in the east of Syria, in the province of Deir Ezzor, the Kurdish SDF fighters have attacked the terrorists and have regained control over the Marad oil fields, as well as the settlements of Abu Hardub and Hasiyat in the vicinity of Abu Hamam.
