Lebanon wants to buy electricity from Syria

Some sources from the Electric Power Transmission Corporation have revealed a request submitted by the Lebanon Electricity Corporation to purchase 200 MW of electricity from the Syrian network. The source pointed out that the Electricity Transmission Corporation apologized and declined the offer for technical reasons. It is noteworthy that the Syrian Ministry of Electricity has been supplying Lebanon with about 4% of the total amount of electricity generated in Syria (100 MW out of 2400 MW)
